Fifty Years of Grammys and One Bloody Injustice

The biggest injustice at last night's Grammy's (or rather, yesterday morning for you guys in KL) was not Amy Winehouse NOT winning Album of The Year (Herbie Hancock, and the Jazz genre in general deserved it). It was not Feist NOT winning anything despite four nominations.

No, the greatest injustice was Arcade Fire's Neon Bible losing out to bloody White Stripes' Icky Thump for best alternative album. I like Icky Thump, but seriously, Neon Bible was a way better album. And why is Arcade Fire only nominated in the 'alternative music' category when Icky Thump was nominated in both that AND the rock categories? Sheesh...

Oh well, at least the Foo Fighters won...

PS: Amy Winehouse may have one screwed up personal life, but she is still has one hell of a personality and artiste. That 'My Blake Incarcerated' line as one of the most memorable moments of this edition of the Grammys, IMHO; and so was her expression when she won record of the year.
PSS: Wow, Chaka Khan's hair really IS that big...
PSSS: Oh, and Carrie Underwood is freaking hot in person... teehee!
